Bei diesem Switch handelt es sich um einen High-Performance-Gigabit-Kupfer-Switch. Er ermöglicht eine einfache Aufrüstung eines bestehenden Netzwerks auf Übertragungsgeschwindigkeiten von 1000 Mbps über Kategorie-5-Kabel(Cat.5). Fünf 1000BASE-T Vollduplex-Ports erhöhen drastisch die Performance Ihres Netzwerkes. Er kann sowohl in herkömmlichen Fast-Ethernet-Netzwerken als auch in Gigabit-Netzwerken eingesetzt werden und eignet sich besonders als Desktopgerät, da er lüfterlos - und damit geräuschfrei ist.

8 geswitchte Ports mit 10/100 Mbps
Jeder einzelne Port unterstützt Datengeschwindigkeiten von sowohl 10 als auch 100 und 1000 Mbps. Im Vollduplex-Modus liegt der Datendurchsatz bei bis zu 2000 Mbps.

Für die Inbetriebnahme ist keine Software-Konfiguration erforderlich. Jeder Netzwerkport stellt sich automatisch auf die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit des angeschlossenen PCs/der Netzwerkkarte ein.
